Install the Xink client for Microsoft Outlook (Mac) using invitation email

This guide will explain how to send an invitation email to Mac users to update their email signatures.

Xink is ready for:

  • MAC OSX ‘El Capitan' (v10.11) to the latest version
  • Microsoft Outlook 2011 to the newer version (Office 2016 or Office 365)
  • Apple Mail

How to invite employees 

Employees menu > Find the user and click the gear wheel and select Send Invitation Email':

How to select multiple employees in one go:

The employee will receive an email from you (their Xink account administrator).

You will be taken to your personal page where you can download the Xink app for Windows and Mac and retrieve your unique access code.
This access code is unique for each employee and it is used to receive signature updates from Xink portal.

This is what your email invitation looks like:


Open the file you downloaded "Xink.zip" to start the installation, If you receive the warning below just enter your computer password and select always allow.

Notice Xink icon will appear in the menu bar if the installation is completed.

You will receive this confirmation that your Outlook signature has been updated.

Enter user's access code "if you are required only" and select "update signature"

Lastly, and it is very important to assign newly downloaded Xink Signature as your default or reply signature.
Go to Outlook > Preferences > Signatures and set the default or reply/forwards signature of your preference.
